Gavin Viljoen - Principal Solicitor / Director

Gavin is the Principal Solicitor of Guardian Solicitors Pty Ltd and has been practicing as a Solicitor for 30 years.

In this role he provides advice to companies, sole traders, businesses and individuals for their legal needs including negotiating and drafting agreements, resolving business disputes, litigating commercial and personal disputes, assisting with debt recovery, leasing, the purchase and sale of property and businesses, attending to the probate of deceased estates, advising on wills and other estate matters and family law disputes.

Gavin understands the day to day issues business owners and private clients face and is therefore able to provide them with sound practical advice to ensure the protection and growth of their businesses and to assist them with their personal legal needs.

He prides himself on providing exceptional service and building long term relationships with clients.

Background

Gavin was admitted as a Solicitor in South Africa in 1994 and in 1996 became a Partner at the firm Hack, Stupel & Ross where he practiced in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Debt Recovery until migrating to Australia with his family in 2004.

In Australia, Gavin was the Principal Solicitor of Dejure Commercial Lawyers in Sydney where he practiced in the areas of Commercial Law, Commercial Litigation and Debt Recovery before in 2010 launching his own private legal practice Viljoen & Comino Solicitors in the North West of Sydney to assist clients who could benefit from his experience and knowledge.

Gavin joined Guardian Solicitors as the Principal Solicitor in mid 2022.

Lesley Myers J.P. - Director

Lesley's 40 years plus experience as a paralegal specialising in conveyancing in Sydney and Papua New Guinea sees her well known to real estate buyers and sellers as well as real estate agents and solicitors from other firms throughout Sydney, which is why she is consulted by other firm's solicitors about peculiar issues that arise in conveyancing from time to time. Lesley has an excellent understanding of all aspects of conveyancing, including work involving Torrens Title, Strata Title and Old System conveyancing, subdivision and multistorey developments and as well as matters relating to advising on mortgages. Lesley has been appointed a Justice of the Peace.

Leesa Noney - Licensed Conveyancer / Director

Leesa is Director of Guardian Solicitors Pty Ltd and a Licensed Conveyancer. She has dedicated the past 15 years to successfully managing the firm to ensure that Guardian Solicitors & Conveyancers continues to go from strength to strength by providing exceptional client service. She has responsibility for all the administration and accounting aspects of the business.

Leesa assists  clients whether they be first home buyers or seasoned property investors with residential sales and purchases, off the plan, strata and community title conveyancing transactions.  Leesa strives to make the conveyancing process as smooth and stress free as possible and will go the extra mile to ensure her clients needs and expectations are exceeded. 

Trevor Myers J.P. - Chief Operations Officer

Over the past 40 years Trevor has held senior management positions with national and international companies both in Australia and overseas in various industries including insurance and reinsurance, financial planning and auditing and has consulted to various large and small businesses to help them improve their top line performance. This has given him the experience and knowledge that is so essential in operating a successful business under challenging conditions. His involvement with the legal profession has been constant in practically all his managerial and business roles and gives him a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in this business.

Trevor is responsible for all the operational and strategic elements of the business, including sales and marketing. Trevor has been appointed a Justice of the Peace.
